question about computer settings

In the manual for installing rock box, it says you have to change the settin in settings USB ? to MSC. I've never heard of that setting, so can anyone tell me where I might find it in windows XP?

Yes, you have to change the settings in the player itself.

I believe this setting has to do wiath allowing the unit to act as a drive rather then connect with windows media player. This gives you access to all of the folders on the player.
